Editor,

We have a job opening for the person best qualified to represent Montana in the hugely important position of U.S. Congressman. As such he must speak for all Americans, not just Montanans. He must have insight into state and national issues and also international. Therefore priorities are far above that of personal aspirations or financial gain. This is not a “popularity contest.” Congressional seats require competency, knowledge, values, and dedication assuming huge responsibilities.

Montana’s average wage is at the bottom. Quist manages both business and money poorly. He probably seeks higher income. Congress faces costly healthcare, education, infrastructure and criminality. The much higher goal requires aptitude and business experience utilizing our free enterprise system. Jobs and productivity eliminates need for federal assistance programs.

Greg Gianforte represents a proven highly successful business man sharing modern technology, opportunity, and wealth with Montana citizens, bettering both personal and state economy. He will help eliminate Washington waste and rein in rogue agencies creating unconstitutional laws and restrictions. Our resource timber, mining and energy industries must be restored and water made available for agriculture. Profitable production (not government) must pay for education, roads and public services and also our government. Current dependency is leading to socialistic third word status. Greg Gianforte has applied for the job. Let’s promote him from successful business man to U.S. Congressman to help lead us back to prosperity and security.
