Golf Lady Pirate golfer Cali Cannon placed fifth and grabbed All-State honors during the two-day Class A state golf tournament held at the Laurel Golf Club. Cannon carded a 98 on Thursday and shot a 91 on Friday for a two-day total of 189, while teammate Ellie Thiel also earned All-State accolades by shooting a ninth-place 197. Cannon and Thiel were joined by Esme Yarbrough and Carly Garrick as the Lady Pirate quartet placed sixth in the overall team standings.
